– Manages
Australia’s aid programs; aid may involve sponsoring education programs.

International
Education Group (previously known as Australian Education
International (AEI)

Supports
international education by:
– Developing
and providing information on regulatory requirements and Australian
education issues to education agents.- Monitoring
provider obligations under the ESOS Act.- Engaging with other governments concerning
qualifications recognition.

Austrade
– Provides
information and tailored services to Australian education and training
providers to support their international education engagement strategies.- Maintains
the studyinaustralia.gov.au (SIA)
website.- May
refer international students and Australian education providers to
education agents via the SIA website.- ​Delivers
international marketing and promotion services to the Australia education
sector, and positions Australian education through the brand Future Unlimited. Managing
the brand includes licensing and guidelines.- Collates
information and develops reports relating to market developments and
education and training opportunities offshore.- Publishes
scholarship information though the SIA website.- Supports alumni development and networks

Australian
Council for Private Education and Training (ACPET)

– The
major national industry association for independent providers of
post-compulsory education and training, for Australian and International
students.- Membership includes universities, colleges and
English language institutes.

TAFE
Directors Australia (TDA)

– An
association of Directors (Chief Executive Officers) of Institutes of Technology
and Technical and Further Education in Australia.

Department
of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT)

The
Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is responsible for advancing the
interests of Australia and Australians internationally through:-Enhancing
Australians security;- Contributing
to growth in Australians economy, employment and standard of living;- Assisting
Australian travellers and Australians overseas; – Strengthening
global cooperation in ways that advance Australians interests;- Fostering
public understanding of Australians foreign and trade policy;- Projecting
a positive image of Australia internationally ;- Managing efficiently the overseas property owned
by the Australian Government.

of Home Affairs (DHA)

– Controls
and maintains Australia’s visa requirements.

Australian
Department of Education, Skills and Employment (DET)

– Controls
and maintains Australia’s education, training and employment government
departments.

English
Australia (EA)

– Represents
English language institutes across Australia.

International
Education Association of Australia (IEAA)

– Serve
and support the professional needs and interests of individuals working in
international education;- encourage
informed and ethical professional practice among members; and- Promote international education with
governments, education institutions and organisations and within the community.

ISANA:
International Education Association (ISANA)

– The
representative body for international education professionals in Australia and
New Zealand who work in international student services, advocacy, teaching, and
policy development.

Independent
Schools Council of Australia (ISCA)

– Represents
the independent schools sector on a national and federal basis.

National
Catholic Education Commission (NCEC)

– Responsible
for the overall policy and direction of education in Catholic Schools.

– The

– Universities
